As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
"When I was about 7 or 8, I wanted to be on the Professional Bowlers Tour."
What made you want to become an accounting/finance person?
"Cash is king. I suppose what made me want to be in the accounting/finance field was knowing what the cash position was for me personally as well as where I was working, and doing what I could to improve upon that position."
What are three things you like most about MINDSCAPE?
"Our location/office space in downtown Grand Rapids, the work I generate and analyze has an impact on the business and the fact that the work MINDSCAPE truly has a positive impact on our community."
What do you do for fun?
"Being a dad, and all that comes with it. Coaching my kids' sports teams, taking them to swim lessons, dance classes, camping with the family, and taking care of our four cats, three rabbits, three chickens, and for four months out of the year, two pigs."
While working, what makes you smile the most?
"Profitability."
What's your education background?
"I have a BBA in accounting from Grand Valley State University and a minor in computer science."
