What made you want to get into sales and business development?
"I actually wanted to be a veterinarian all through high school. A vet for horses of course, and be the vet on-call at the Olympics (go big or go home, right?!). Then I took a school store management class and knew I had to be in sales and marketing. MINDSCAPE makes it fun and easy because I trust this team 110% to deliver."
What are three things you like most about MINDSCAPE?
"The focus on continued learning - these people are always sharing new books, links to blogs and insights that continue to drive us forward, on every level. Collaboration and teamwork - yeah, that’s two things, but with the way we build our project teams and all our players, all our work gets the attention and insights it needs from the right people. People and the culture - have I said teamwork already? Great people to work with, and some pretty good kickball players too. We have a lot of fun, flexibility necessary for real lives and pretty sweet office space."
What attracted you to MINDSCAPE?
"MINDSCAPE's approach to the big picture when it comes to website strategy and development. The research and planning they put into their websites, way before they start with design, is what attracted me most to working on this team. No guessing; just using the facts and delivering for our customers."
What's rewarding about working with MINDSCAPE?
"It’s a great team, we do great work for our customers and we have fun doing it. I think we’re laughing every single day. Either with each other or at each other. :)"
What do you do for fun?
"Since I tore my Achilles, I avoid swinging into a river on a rope. Seriously, spending time with my husband and our son boating on Gun Lake in the summer."
What's your education background?
"Totally a type A person, just ask anyone here. I worked full-time and went to college nights and weekends. That’s why I have a diverse work experience. My degree is in sales & marketing from Davenport University."
