As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
"A garbage man. Weird right? I was fascinated that they could drive down the road with their doors open. I eventually phased out of that and started my career path by signing up for classes at Baker College (that's a plug) to become an architect."
What made you want to become an entrepreneur?
"Entrepreneurship is in my blood. My parents owned several companies as I was growing up. But my plan was to get my web design degree, go work for someone for five years, then start my own business. A year before graduation I looked around and realized there was only one Web development company around the area, and my college dean owned it. Simply out of necessity, I started my first Web development firm with an associate I met at college and started competing against him."
What are three things you like most about MINDSCAPE?
"There are so many things I love about this company. In alphabetical order, I would say...the clients, the culture, the people."
What do you do for fun?
"I love spending time with my family. I have an awesome daughter who constantly makes me laugh, a beautiful wife who takes great care of me, and a hilarious pit bull that helps me fill up my iPhone with funny pictures. Other than that, I spend time with my toys - either on my Harley Davidson Street Glide, Arctic Cat snowmobiles, or driving around my Mustang from high school. One more thing, playing kickball for the MINDSCAPE team! Yeah, it's an adult sport too...kinda."
If you could say anything to the person reading this, what would it be?
"I would say thanks a lot for taking the time to check out MINDSCAPE. We are a group of great people doing great work for great clients.
